W.A. Mozart’s, “The Marriage of Figaro”, is a masterpiece that is widely considered to be one of the greatest and most beloved operas ever written! Premiering in 1786, written during a time of the French revolution, “The Marriage of Figaro” is a comedic opera that features the genius of Mozart’s beautiful and complex music juxtaposed with provocative messaging on social class, relatable characters, an engaging plot, and timeless themes of love, infidelity and forgiveness. A true classic, this opera offers an entertaining blend of musical brilliance with captivating, clever and comedic storytelling.
