Tribe Artist Collective in Tetonia ID in collaboration with North End Fine Art is excited to announce the 3rd annual “Roll it Out” Steamroller Printmaking Festival, in Tetonia Sunday September 6th 2025.
We currently have 12+ artists from the regional area (from
Jackson WY to Idaho Falls ID) carving 3x4 foot woodblocks that will transfer the artists’ image into art with the use of a steamroller (or a road compressor). Those artists include North End Fine Art Gallery (Tetonia ID), owner Michele Walters, Katy Ann Fox, Abby Paffrath, Aimee Babneau, Steven Glass and the list goes on! Sponsors include Jay Warhol from Warhol Services is lending us his steamroller, which will then be used in the printmaking process in the middle of Tetonia’s Central Avenue (the street north of the Tribebuilding).
We have secured the road closure permit with the City of Tetonia. On the day of the event we will have Central Avenue between Main and 5th closed from 9:30-5. The blocks will be laid out down the middle of the street in a row and we will run multiple editions of each print on canvas, rice paper and other materials. We will then hang, dry and display the prints in both Tribe and North End Fine Art. All prints will be available for purchase the day of the event and then any remaining works at either gallery following the event. We are using the sides of the streets for artists vendor booths, we hope to have up to 10 artists. Artist vendor booths will open at 10am. This event also includes
live music and food featuring Rock Creek and refreshments from Dory's Cafe. This is a hands-on interactive art experience and we are excited to share with the community. We are looking for volunteers to help with the making process.
