Visible Mending Workshop with GreenHouse Studio

Learn how to turn small rips and holes into uniquely designed details through the art of patchwork. In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll repair a piece from your wardrobe with a tear up to 3x4 inches on non-stretch fabric. If you’re unsure, you’re welcome to bring multiple items for review. All materials will be provided; however, feel free to bring any special fabrics or threads you’d like to incorporate. Led by Frances Garcia of GreenHouse Studio, you’ll leave with a beautifully mended piece and the know-how to extend the life of your clothes. This special Sunday workshop will be held in the museum’s Community Room, light refreshments will be provided. Tickets are $20 – reserve your seat by calling 480-350-5100, space is limited.
