About Merging Vets and Players (MVP)
Merging Vets & Players (MVP) was founded in 2015 by Jay Glazer and Nate Boyer to address a shared but often unspoken truth, veterans and professional athletes face strikingly similar struggles when their time in uniform comes to a pause. Whether on the battlefield or the playing field, both groups have lived lives centered around purpose, identity, and team. When that chapter ends, the loss of structure, camaraderie, and mission can be overwhelming. MVP bridges that gap by offering weekly peer support sessions, both in person and online along with community events and wellness programs that help members rebuild strength, connection, and purpose together.
