Belly dance workshop with Zoriy

Join us at Studio Vavavoom for a Belly Dance Workshop with Zoriy.

Learn the expressive art of Belly Dance while getting a great low impact workout! A full 90 minute Belly Dance Technique and Drills workshop designed for Beginner through Intermediate dancers. Workshop will include basic isolations, drills, layering (travel, arm movements, shimmies), and combinations. Then put them together to create graceful and exciting movements to music. Primary training focused on Modern Egyptian and American Cabaret style belly dance.

What to wear:
Comfortable dance clothing that doesn’t restrict movement, a hip scarf if you have one. No shoes are required, you are more than welcome to wear ballet slippers, jazz shoes, dance footies or socks if you like.


About Zoriy:
Zoriy is best known for her cabaret belly dance style, unique passion for fans and vibrant flowing silks. This award-winning belly dance performer strives to combine an elegant modern style with the beauty of traditional belly dance. In recent years she has continued to evolve by training with internationally acclaimed belly dance greats. Zoriy is honored to be a Resident Performer with VaVaVoom Productions since 2015.
