Valencia Baryton Project

With two CDs, The Valencia Baryton Project combines the baryton, viola, and violoncello. Founded by Valencia-based barytonist Matthew Baker, the string trio are dedicated to performing music written for the ancient baryton instrument and have performed nearly 170 works by Franz Joseph Haydn. The traditional trio’s work has been described as “beautiful and polished” and “delightfully inventive” by different publications and programs.
