IMPACT PROGRAM PROJECT: PLARN WORKSHOP
This project is housed within the Perry County Impact Program, more information can be found on Facebook at
https://www.facebook.com/groups/impactprogram
The Perry County Impact Program was created in 2023 to unite our community, to learn from one another, to share diverse perspectives, and to do our part in keeping nature wild. Perry County Impact Program is sponsored by United Way of Perry County and created and operated under Paddle Perry, Inc. The purpose of the program is to provide our community partners with the equipment and knowledge to leave places better, practice better disposal methods, and educate about the importance of recycling.
Since 2023, Paddle Perry hosted multiple plarn prep and craft days to create these plastic mats. When completed, they are donated to Catholic Charities and given to those in need. They're great for layering sleeping pads on top, keeping you off of the ground and dry. Reach out if you’re interested in getting involved with this project. We have materials and information to share.
This project can take extra time outside of craft days to complete. Participants are encouraged and welcome to create anytime throughout the year. Completed projects can be dropped off during craft days or at Joe & Linda's Radio Sales, 3270 E ST RD 66, Cannelton, IN.
