It's hard to believe that nearly a year has passed since we lost our dearly beloved brother and a true pillar of our local community, Robin Foote. Robin was an integral figure in spreading love, joy, and rhythm through the drum circles and communities across North Texas. His spirit lives on in so many of us, and I am eternally grateful for the profound lessons he taught me in the short time we had together. His wisdom and passion for life continue to influence me in countless ways.
As the one-year anniversary of his passing approaches, our community is coming together to honor and celebrate the beautiful life he lived. We have chosen this Saturday, August 30th, for a special memorial celebration at a beautiful location that Robin would have truly adored: the Coffee Mill Lake Recreation Area in the Caddo National Grasslands.

We will begin gathering between around 3:00 PM. The day will be a heartfelt tribute to Robin, filled with music, peace, and the kind of deep community connections he cherished. If you feel inspired, please bring something to share with others, whether it is a dish for the potluck or memories of Robin. The serene setting of the lake, with its beautiful, tranquil views, provides the perfect backdrop for us to gather and honor his incredible energy. We invite you to bring your musical instruments, kayaks, and crystal sound bowls—anything that reminds you of his vibrant spirit. As the sun begins to set, we will hold a communal sound bath in his memory, a peaceful and powerful way to collectively honor the life he so beautifully lived.
Your presence would mean so much to all of us as we celebrate his life and legacy. We would be honored if you could join us.
