The Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv is pleased to invite you on September 18th, 2025, at 19:00, to the opening of the solo retrospective exhibition 𝐴 𝑓𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑛 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑙𝑑 by 𝐔𝐫𝐢 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐧, hosted at our headquarters on 8 Shaul Hamelech Blvd., Beit Amot Mishpat, 6th floor, Tel Aviv. The exhibition is on display between September 8 – October 31, 2025.
Uri Friedman – painter, poet, actor, playwright, and caricaturist – creates a unique dialogue between painting and poetry, offering viewers a powerful and emotional artistic experience. Descended from a family originally from Hârlău, Romania, he reconnects through art with his cultural roots. His works vibrate with color and emotion, accompanied by verses written by the artist himself, transforming each painting into a stage and each poem into an echo of lived experience.
At the opening event, the public will have the opportunity to hear Uri Friedman recite his own poems – an authentic encounter between word and image, between audience and artist.
