About this Event

What are Singing Bowls?

Singing bowls are sacred instruments typically made out of brass. The bowls we use during our sound baths are made out of quartz crystal. When these bowls are played, a frequency is emitted that correlates with one of your seven chakras. This frequency can reveal imbalances in your chakras and can provoke emotional and physical responses.

What Should I Bring?

We kindly ask that you bring nothing except an open mind and share the event with a friend! Dress comfortably, as we typically sit on the floor. Pillows are provided, although seating can be arranged for personal or medical reasons.

Why Should I Try Sound Healing?

Sound healing using crystal singing bowls is a time for you to completely relax and transition out of fight-or-flight mode and into a state of zen. Singing bowls are an excellent way to release emotional traumas in a safe and guided environment. This event is led by Judith Dazle, empath, intuitive, life coach, and owner of Rock Collage, the tri-state area's favorite crystal and wellness oasis.

Are there Virtual options available?

Absolutely! We offer the option to heal virtually through our sound meditation. Allow yourself to be whisked away with our tantalizing rhythmic crystal bowls. You will feel as though you are in the store.

Sarah Kang has over 7 years of experience with Acupuncture

Acupuncture, a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body. While its exact mechanisms are still being explored by Western science, a vast body of anecdotal evidence and growing research support its effectiveness for a wide range of conditions.

Here are some of the commonly reported and studied benefits of acupuncture:

1. Pain Relief:

  • Chronic Pain: This is arguably the most recognized and researched benefit. Acupuncture is widely used for chronic pain conditions such as:
    • Low back pain
    • Neck pain
    • Knee pain (especially osteoarthritis)
    • Headaches (tension headaches and migraines)
    • Fibromyalgia
    • Myofascial pain syndrome
    • Sciatica
    • Arthritis
  • Post-Operative Pain: It can effectively reduce pain after surgery.
  • Dental Pain: Often used for pain after dental procedures or general toothaches.

2. Stress Reduction and Emotional Well-being:

  • Anxiety and Depression: Acupuncture is increasingly recognized for its ability to help reduce symptoms of anxiety, stress, and depression by influencing neurotransmitters and promoting relaxation.
  • Insomnia: Its calming effects can help improve sleep quality and address sleep disturbances.
  • General Relaxation: Many people report feeling profoundly relaxed and even energized after an acupuncture session.

3. Digestive Health:

  • Nausea and Vomiting: Particularly effective for nausea caused by chemotherapy and post-operative anesthesia.
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS): Can help manage symptoms of IBS and other digestive complaints.
  • Gastritis: May provide relief from gastritis symptoms.

4. Women's Health:

  • Menstrual Pain (Dysmenorrhea): Can significantly reduce the severity of menstrual cramps.
  • Infertility: Used as a complementary therapy to support fertility, including in conjunction with IVF treatments.
  • Menopausal Symptoms: May help alleviate hot flashes and other discomforts of menopause.
  • Pregnancy Discomforts: Can help with morning sickness and other issues during pregnancy.

5. Respiratory Conditions:

  • Allergic Rhinitis (Hay Fever): May help relieve seasonal allergy symptoms.
  • Asthma: Can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life for individuals with asthma, although it hasn't been shown to improve lung function directly.

6. Neurological Conditions:

  • Stroke Rehabilitation: Evidence suggests it can improve functional communication in patients with post-stroke aphasia and aid in stroke recovery.
  • Parkinson's Disease: May help manage some symptoms.

7. Other Benefits:

  • Immune System Support: Believed to stimulate the body's immune response.
  • Addiction Support: Can be used as an adjunctive therapy in addiction recovery programs to reduce withdrawal symptoms and cravings.
  • Fatigue: Many report increased energy levels.
  • Muscle Weakness and Cramping: Can help alleviate these musculoskeletal issues.
