Hey adventurers! Lets ride again to the Mexican cafe in Lennox, El Mariachi. As every bicyclist worth their salt knows, tacos and margaritas are better during a bike ride. Therefore, I'm going to ride from the Sports Complex in Tea to Lennox for margaritas and tacos.
Since it is winter, I'm riding my fatbike, thus the event name, Fat-a-rita. This is a 21 mile round trip ride and is highly weather dependent. The long term forecast looks like possibly 40 degrees, my fingers are crossed. However, I will cancel if windchill should drop into the single digits or if it looks like rain or other dangerous weather.
You are invited to join my son and I in our quest for margaritas and tacos. I ride slow, I think life and tacos are better with friends and bicycles.
As always, this is a get-together, not an official event with support. You should be confident in your ability to ride in winter conditions, and have an extraction plan if things go sideways.
You're encouraged to ride a fatbike, but any bike will do. Lack of a fatbike, while sad, is no excuse to skip the event.
