„აფხაზეთის წვიმა მიყვარს,
იცი რად?“
შორეულ მოგონებად დარჩენილი აფხაზეთი. მეხსიერებაში შემორჩენილი ზღვა, ტყეები და აფხაზეთის ჰორიზონტებია. სიზმარივით ახდენილი მოგონებები, ბუნდოვანი პეიზაჟებით, რომელსაც დიდი ხნის წინ დაემშვიდობა ტარიკო ჭანტურია. მას შემდეგ კი მეხსიერებაში კადრებად აღდგენილი, ხშირად კი საოცნებო და წარმოსახვითი პეიზაჟებით იხსენებს იმ ტრაგიკულ გამოცდილებას, რომელმაც 6 წლის ბავშვზე შემზარავი შთაბეჭდილება მოახდინა. მისი ნამუშევრები კი, მთლიანად ეთმობა აფხაზეთს, ზოგჯერ მკვეთრ, ზოგჯერ კი უკვე დავიწყებას მიცემულ მოგონებებს, რომლებსაც მხოლოდ ემოციური სიმკვეთრე შემორჩენიათ. ტარიკო ჭანტურიამ საკუთარი თვალით იხილა ოჯახის დაკარგვა აფხაზეთში, გამოიარა ის რთული გზა, როდესაც ენითაღუწერელ ტრაგედიას გროტესკული შემზარაობით განიცდის ავტორი. დროთა განმავლობაში, ფორმირდება ნოსტალგიურ მოგონებად ზღვაზე, ჰორიზონტზე და ახალ სიცოცხლეს პოულობს ავტორის ნამუშევრებში, და სწორედ,

ამიტომ...“
“I love the rain of Abkhazia,
Do you know why?”
Abkhazia remains a distant memory. The sea, forests, and horizons of Abkhazia remain in memory. Memories that come true like a dream, with vague landscapes, to which Tariko Chanturia said goodbye a long time ago. Since then, he has recalled the tragic experience, which made a terrifying impression on a 6-year-old child, in frames, often dreamy and imaginary landscapes. His works are entirely devoted to Abkhazia, sometimes sharp, sometimes already forgotten memories, which only retain emotional sharpness. Tariko Chanturia saw with his own eyes the loss of his family in Abkhazia, and went through the difficult path when he experienced an indescribable tragedy with grotesque horror. Over time, it takes shape as a nostalgic memory of the sea, the horizon, and finds new life in the author's works, and precisely,
"I love the rain of Abkhazia,
that's why..."
