Do you dream of playing hockey but a lower extremity mobility impairment prevents you from skating? Now’s your chance! Join us for a free Try Sled Hockey event, where kids and adults can get on the ice and experience this exciting, fast-paced sport.
Why Try Sled Hockey?
- Inclusive & adaptive: Perfect for people with physical disabilities
- Build confidence: Gain independence, strength, and new skills on the ice.
- Stay active: A great workout that improves coordination and endurance.
- Community: Make friends and join a team that feels like family.
- Fun & competitive: From beginners to seasoned athletes, sled hockey offers challenge and excitement at every level.
Our teams range in age from 5-65 and have players with a broad spectrum of disabilities that prevent them from playing stand up hockey. We do require that players are able to follow age appropriate instructions.
