The Whakamarama Community Centre is turning 50, and the whole community is invited to join in the celebrations on Saturday 6 December 2025.
From 10am to 2pm, everyone is welcome to drop in and enjoy a vibrant day of connection, reflection, and future planning. Meet the current committee, explore the rich history of the Hall and local area, and share your ideas for how the space can continue to meet the needs of our growing and diverse community.
A pop-up café, kids’ market, and local trade fair will create a lively hub, offering local businesses and young entrepreneurs a chance to showcase their talents and connect with the wider Whakamarama community. It’s a great opportunity to support local and discover new faces and services in our backyard.
As the sun sets, the celebrations continue with a ticketed evening event. The night will include a delicious dinner, live entertainment, and a fun quiz night to test your knowledge of local history and happenings. It’s set to be a memorable evening of laughter, learning, and community spirit.
