Screening on Tuesday the 2nd of September is the heartfelt comedy drama, Bob Trevino Likes It - a poignant, funny, and deeply personal tale that explores themes of chosen family, healing, and the transformative power of human connection.
Directed by Tracie Laymon, inspired by her own life experiences, the story follows Lily Trevino, a young woman grappling with emotional abandonment from her narcissistic father, Bob Trevino. After failed attempts to reconnect with her dad, Lily searches for him on Facebook—only to accidentally befriend a different Bob Trevino, a kind-hearted construction manager from Indiana, who, through small acts of kindness, offers Lily the compassion and support she’s longed for.
