Greening Taupō have been holding community plantings here since 2017 so come down with family and friends to see how it is all growing at Hipapatua Recreation Reserve, previously known as Reid's farm.💚
Bring your gumboots, garden gloves and your favourite spade. We do have some spades to share, and holes will be dug.
Bring suitable wet weather, we will be planting rain or shine ☔
🚗Park up within the summer camping area and follow the signs to the planting.
There will be a sausage sizzle and a hot drink afterwards for all planters. Kids don't forget to collect your tree🌳 to take home if you have 4 stickers on your certificate for attending 4 or more plantings :)
