Plus, take part in our Wow! Amazing Science Summer Trail around the museum and win a treat! Open all summer, the trail is £1 each.

🔭Visit our exhibition ‘Wow! Amazing Science in Children’s Books!’ and explore the wonders of the world around us as we journey from outer space to the inner workings of the human body! Discover incredible art that brings science to life in this family-friendly exhibition in partnership with Events of Wonder. ✨

🏰Explore the Museum of Somerset, set inside Taunton’s historic 12th-century castle! Discover 9 themed galleries, including the Somerset Military Museum, and journey from prehistoric times to today.

☕ Afterwards, relax at the Courtyard Café with freshly made local food and drink, from light lunches to afternoon teas and cake.

✨ Entry to the museum is FREE (suggested donation £5).
⏰ The museum is open 10.00 am – 5.00 pm, Tuesday – Saturday
(including Bank Holiday Mondays).
