Somerset Art Weeks (Venue 64)

I'm taking part in SAW Open Studios at The Orchard Gallery.

I am an abstract artist and colourist, inspired by the rhythms of everyday life, the changing landscape, and the connections we find within them. Colour is central to my practice, both as a visual language and as a way of expressing emotion and energy.



My paintings are created intuitively, often beginning without a fixed plan. I work through a process of layering, building depth and atmosphere while allowing each mark and wash of colour to inform the next. Water plays an important role in my practice, introducing a sense of movement and fluidity, echoing the unpredictability of nature and the ebb and flow of thought.

Through abstraction, I form my own internal landscapes - spaces that invite the viewer to pause, reflect, and connect with their own sense of place and emotion.
