Pigment Making - an introduction

Learn the basics of earth pigment making in a short workshop, using foraged materials from Langley Moor.

Natural pigments can be found everywhere and many of the colours can be found in the soil, clay, sand and stone in the area around us. With an interest in the relationship between art and ecology, much of Lily's work involves recording her surroundings and working directly with materials collected during time spent outdoors.
