Jigsaw Lino Print Workshop

Explore the possibilities of linoprinting using the jigsaw method. The ‘jigsaw’ method of creating multicolour lino prints holds so many possibilities, it’s very economical but also doesn’t require any registration or ‘lining up’ that multiple blocks would so is a fairly straightforward and satisfying way of creating a multicoloured print. Learn how to safely carve your design into a single piece of lino, cut it carefully into pieces and ink those pieces individually to create multi-colour prints. All materials will be provided and we will use artist quality inks and paper to create our prints. Please bring your own drawings or images to work from – we will look at how to make your images suitable for printing using this method. this workshop is ideal for beginners or those with a some experience of linoprinting.
