Kontserdikava PÄRT+ avab akna Arvo Pärdi varasesse loomingusse, mille kõrvale asetuvad kaasaegsete heliloojate teosed. Widmann ja Lachenmann uurivad klaveri piire ning avavad kõlamaailmu, kus klaverit kasutatakse ka väljaspool traditsioonilist nootide mängimist. Lindbergi ja Rautavaara etüüdid ühendavad virtuoossuse ja poeetilisuse, tuues dialoogi Pärdi varase modernismipüüdluse ning tema muusikalise nooruse värskusega.

The concert program PÄRT+ opens a window into Arvo Pärt’s early works, presented alongside pieces by his contemporaries. Widmann and Lachenmann explore the boundaries of the piano, revealing sonic worlds where the instrument is used beyond traditional note-playing. Lindberg’s and Rautavaara’s études combine virtuosity with poetry, creating a dialogue between Pärt’s early modernist aspirations and the freshness of his musical youth.
