Tartu talvine tantsupäev toob juba 16. korda kokku sajad rahvatantsijad ja rahvakultuuri sõbrad, et lumisel raekoja platsil koos tantsida! ☃️
Tänavu on osalejate huvi olnud eriti suur – seetõttu toimub tantsupäev lausa kahes osas:
➤ Laste talvine tantsupidu kell 11 – tantsijatele 1.-9. klass Tartust ja Tartumaalt
➤ Täiskasvanute talvine tantsupidu kell 13 – tantsijatele 10.-12. klass ja täiskasvanud
Talvise tantsupäeva kunstiline juht on Meelika Kaarna. Tantse saadavad Emajõe Tantsuklubi muusikud. ❄️
Talvisele tantsupäevale järgneb simman maailma kõrgeimas õllerestoranis ehk Püssirohukeldris, kus mängib tantsuks Nedsaja Küla Bänd! Laudade broneerimine simmaniks toimub kodulehel pyss.ee/broneeri või kohapeal.
Tartu jõululinn ootab raekoja platsile meeleolukat pühadeaega veetma kuni 4. jaanuarini. Uisuväljak Suudlevate tudengite purskkaevu ümber on avatud iga päev kell 10–22 kuni 1. märtsini.
Korraldamisel lähtutakse keskkonnahoidlike sündmuste juhendist, et vähendada sündmuse keskkonnamõju.

Tartu Winter Folk Dance Day brings together hundreds of folk dancers and friends of traditional culture for the 16th year to dance together on the snowy Town Hall Square! ☃️
This year, interest from participants has been especially high – which is why the event will take place in two parts:
➤ Children’s Winter Dance Festival at 11:00 – for dancers from grades 1–9 from Tartu and Tartu County
➤ Adults’ Winter Dance Festival at 13:00 – for dancers from grades 10–12 and adults
The artistic director of the Winter Folk Dance Day is Meelika Kaarna. The dances will be accompanied by musicians from the Emajõgi Dance Club. ❄️
The Winter Folk Dance Day will be followed by a lively simman at the world’s highest beer restaurant, Püssirohukelder, with Nedsaja Küla Bänd playing for the dancers! Table reservations for the simman can be made on the website pyss.ee/broneeri or on site.
Tartu Christmas City invites everyone to enjoy a festive holiday atmosphere at Town Hall Square until January 4. The ice rink around the Fountain of the Kissing Students is open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM until March 1.
The event is organized following environmentally friendly guidelines to minimize its environmental impact.
