Taos, NM- Zikr Dance Ensemble presents Ritual

Showcasing an international cast of world class dancers, Zikr Dance Ensemble’s “Ritual” will feature Zikr Dance Ensemble’s premiere of internationally acclaimed Belgian choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui’s “In Memoriam" pas de deux (see photos below). This is a rare honor—no other dance company in Colorado has a piece by Cherkaoui in their repertoire. Bringing his choreography to our stage will not only validate the quality of our company but also mark the Colorado premiere of his work, elevating our profile and offering something truly special to our audiences.

Zikr’s Board, staff and dancers are extremely honored to be selected to premiere this amazing and simply beautiful work. This is not to be missed!
