We invite all artists to join Artists Sunday, a national marketing campaign and event that encourages shoppers to purchase from artists and artisans on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. It follows Plaid Friday and Small Business Saturday, the day before Cider/Cyber Monday, the largest shopping weekend of the year. Participation is free.
Artists Sunday unites individual artists and supporting organizations nationwide, creating a voice of thousands, all promoting the purchase of art during the year’s busiest shopping weekend. Artists receive a comprehensive marketing toolkit, enabling them to generate buzz and awareness.
Artists Sunday is a nationwide alliance of professional artists, nonprofit agencies, community organizations, and sponsors encouraging consumers to shop with artists, artisans, and craftspeople. This artist-focused day occurs annually on the Sunday after Thanksgiving – the busiest shopping weekend. Shoppers support local professional artists, find unique, personal gifts for their loved ones, and purchase something handmade.
