Singing for health

Singing therapy – this has proven health and social benefits such as improved breathing techniques, social interaction, expressing emotions, having fun, reduces stress.

The mechanical processes of singing can help to support physical functions, e.g. muscular exercises promote facial, throat and chest muscle mobility & help with vocal clarity strength & production. Deep breathing also encourages improved lung capacity. Postural exercises encourage improved stability standing and regulating walking pace
