Spring School Holiday Workshops at Tamworth Regional Gallery in the Esther Halliday Studio:
Calling all budding storytellers, illustrators, and comic enthusiasts!
Join Daniel Elliott, animator and illustrator from Visitors From Dreams, for a hands-on workshop in picture book writing and illustration these school holidays.
Whether you’re drawn to Dav Pilkey’s playful humor or the dramatic worlds of manga, this session will give you the tools to bring your own stories to life.
From superheroes to slice-of-life, we’ll explore how words and pictures work together to create unforgettable stories. Bring your ideas, your curiosity, and get ready to put pen to paper.
The outcomes of the workshops will be animated and projected into the Fitzroy Plaza. Folks will see their artworks come to life!
Session 1 - 10.00am - 11.30am
Session 2 - 12.30-2.00pm
Workshops suitable for kids aged 6 – 16 years of age.
Up to 12 participants. $30 per session. Come to one or both sessions.
This workshop is also being offered for teens and adults from 4pm
