Cuatro payasas amantes de Shakespeare irrumpen un teatro abandonado para presentar sus propias versiones de "Hamlet", "Otelo" y "Romeo y Julieta". Su pasión por el teatro las mantiene entusiasmadas de compartir las obras, sin embargo, tienen que presentarlas con urgencia ya que la policía podría llegar en cualquier momento para clausurar el lugar y arrestarlas.
