"TSD Next Steps Series" is a sequence of events with invited teachers from different dance styles, powered by Tampere Social Dancing.
The initiative is partially financed by Tampere Social Dancing, allowing the prices to remain low, when compared to "regular prices" of similar events.
Our "Next Steps Series" brings back the biggest inspiration on how we dance Cuban casino (Cuban Salsa) at TSD:
Oliwia Szewczak
She is one of the most popular teachers in Poland and she'll bring us a hot Cuban-like day! Besides energetic and fun, she's a real pedagogue. And even though she's a great dancer, she's an amazing teacher. She's able to break down every movement, every motion, to help you understand it more deeply. It will be her third time with us in Tampere, and if you haven't met her yet, you will love her!
- Bio -
Oliwia started dancing at the age of 5 and trained dancing and rhythmic gymnastics. She attended the Warsaw Ballet School, where she practiced classical dances, folk and contemporary dance.
Her teaching career initiated in 2009, when she co-founded Oye! Dance School in Warsaw, and has been teaching Cuban dances since then.
These days she has her new project Muevete, in which she continues to share and develop her dance knowledge.
