Suomen todennäköisesti suurin, mutta taatusti karmein psychobilly-festivaali herää Halloweenina henkiin parin vuoden tauon jälkeen Hämeenlinnassa. Tawastia Stomp järjestetään Painohallissa ja kuten aina, tarjolla on myös rockabillyä, kantria ja kauhutunnelmaa.
Kahden päivän tapahtumassa on yhteensä 13 esiintyjää, joista neljä on kovia kotimaisia ja yhdeksän ulkomaista.
Kovasta bänditarjonnasta nostettakoon esiin amerikkalainen The Quakes, joka on toiminut Atlantin takaisen psychobillyn suunnannäyttäjänä jo 35 vuoden ajan, ruotsalainen kalmaista kantria tarjoileva The Coffinshakers, psychobillyn eläväiset brittilegendat Long Tall Texans sekä itävaltalainen todellisen kauhuspektaakkelin järjestävä Bloodsucking Zombies From Outer Space, joka on hyvin harvinainen ja odotettu vieras Suomessa…

The possibly biggest and certainly ugliest psychobilly festival in Finland returns this Halloween to Hämeenlinna. The venue for Tawastia Stomp will be Painohalli and, as always, we offer also rockabilly, country and all things scary.
The two-day festival features thirteen bands. Four are home-grown in Finland and nine from Europe and the USA.
It is difficult to single out any band, but one must mention The Quakes who have been the pathfinders of psychobilly on that side of the pond for 35 years, The Coffinshakers, those Swedish purveyors of darkest country imaginable, Long Tall Texans, those lively British psychobilly legends, and The Bloodsucking Zombies From Outer Space, those rare quests from Austria who are guaranteed to create a horror spectacle on stage…
The bands offer a balanced genre-hopping mix of young enthusiasm coupled with experienced performances. You just cannot afford to miss this!
