OS CABELODURO
OS CABELO DURO is one of the most legendary Brazilian punk bands, with over three decades of existence.
Formed in Guará, a satellite city of Brasília, Brazil, in 1989,
Os Cabeloduro was the most appropriate name to express their origins, transforming everyday influences into visceral and honest music. That same year, the band was already performing in small venues and local bars, adopting a punk rock/hardcore approach. In 1993, they released their first demo tape, and the quartet began performing throughout Brazil, winning fans with their incisive music and direct lyrics.
Even today, vocalist Hélio Gazú, drummer Daniel Quirino, guitarist Ralph, and bassist Guilherme Fernandes continue to challenge the status quo and the establishment, composing songs that follow the same tone: protest cries with sarcastic undertones about current issues: politics, alienation, urban violence, and drug abuse, sending clear messages to government officials and other power holders.
In 2025, celebrating the band's 36th anniversary, they landed in February to play in Argentina and Uruguay.
Now it's Europe's turn to celebrate and toast with the band on the "Os CabeloDuro: Now with more Vodka" tour.
