Step out of everyday life, into the world of theatrical fantasy and poetical humor of Aime the Storyteller! In this one-woman show, Aime hosts a mix of colorful opinionated characters who are the acts in her Cabaret. The characters originally escaped from Aime’s poetry book, but are now twisting the plot. Aime, the author, just lends them her body whenever they want to step into the lime light. But even though characters are based on poetry texts, don’t expect any traditional recital. Get ready for a roller coaster ride of comedy, theatre and storytelling! Aime’s characters – Kidnapped Poet, Babe with Suspicious Intentions, Well-Behaved Space Alien and many others will be there to entertain you!
AIME THE STORYTELLER (also known as Aime the Theatrical Poet) is an Estonian performance artist, writer and visual artist. She leads a parallel life as a linguist and a creative artist. Over the years she has performed in Estonia & abroad (solo and group shows, events, festivals), published books of poetry / prose, showcased artwork. “Cabaret” is Aime’s latest solo show, created and performed by the author. Characters mostly from the poetry book "Coffee mornings with angels".
