Festivalil ootavad sind elav muusika Ida- ja Lääne-Aafrikast, traditsioonilised ja kaasaegsed tantsud Elevandiluurannikult, Beninist ja mujalt, ehtne Aafrika köök ning võimalus lasta endale teha soeng või punutised.

Päevase energia ja muusika eest vastutab Ida-Aafrika ehk DJ puldis on Tansaaniast pärit Yaslo ning mikri taga Keeniast pärit Smiley.

Afrobeati kollektiiv, kes toob lavale ehtsa Lääne-Aafrika energia ja rütmid. Lava koosseisust ei puudu ka Nigeeriale iseloomulik talking drum.

Kaks tantsijat, kes on pärit Elevandiluurannikult ja Beninist, tulevad tutvustama oma riikide traditsioonilisi tantse.

Afroest on Tallinnas tegutsev tantsugrupp, kes õpib ja õpetab erinevaid aafrika kaasaegseid tantsustiile.

ASAMBE – African Food & Culture Festival! 💜
The festival brings you vibrant music from East and West Africa, traditional and contemporary dances from Ivory Coast, Benin and beyond, authentic African cuisine, and the chance to get your hair braided or a fresh haircut on site.
🎶 MUSIC
• DJ Yaslo 🇹🇿 & hosted by Smiley 🇰🇪
The day’s energy and music are powered by East Africa – behind the decks is DJ Yaslo from Tanzania, and on the mic is Smiley from Kenya.
• The Golden Band of Europe 🇳🇬
An Afrobeat collective bringing the true energy and rhythms of West Africa to the stage. Their live show features the iconic Nigerian talking drum.

• Célebre JB 🇨🇮 & Maurice le Binguis 🇧🇯
Two dancers from Ivory Coast and Benin showcasing traditional dances from their countries.

• Afroest
Afroest is a Tallinn-based dance group learning and teaching various modern African dance styles.
