Architecture Seminar Dedicated to Louis Kahn “Beginnings – Algused”

On 12 September 2025, the historic Kuressaare Town Hall will host a unique international seminar celebrating the legacy of architect Louis I. Kahn and exploring the vision for a future Louis Kahn Centre in Saaremaa.

The seminar brings together distinguished voices from the fields of architecture, music, and culture, including contributions from ETH Zürich, AHO Oslo, TalTech, the Estonian Academy of Arts, and the Arvo Pärt Centre. Composer Kristjan Järvi will join the discussion on creativity and inspiration, while leading architects and researchers share new perspectives on Kahn’s Nordic connections and the future cultural landscape of Kuressaare.
