Join us for the 5th annual Ice Sculpting Competition as part of the Talkeetna Ice Festival. Participants will have 8 days to complete their carvings, which will remain on display in the Talkeetna Village Park until the weather says otherwise. Register here to be a participant!
Large Ice Block Entry 40"x20"x10" (350lbs) - $50.00/Block, $30.00/Block for youth participants (2 blocks max per sculpture).
- Blocks of Ice will be available in the Village Park beginning on Saturday, January 31. The blocks weigh 350lbs, and are approximately 2 feet wide, 4 feet high and 9 inches deep.
- Carvings must be finished by Saturday, February 7th at 12pm. Winners will be announced on Sunday.
- There are 3 categories for judging. Adult (18+) Hand Tools, Adult (18+) Power Tools, and Youth (17 and under).
- All ages and abilities encouraged to compete!
- Participants must provide their own sculpting tools.
