Liturgy 為吉他手&主唱 Haela Ravenna Hunt-Hendrix的個人計畫，於2008年起初為四人編制並於2009年由美國知名廠牌 20buck spin 發行了首張專輯’‘ Renihilation ’‘ 並引起廣大迴響，Haela Ravenna Hunt-Hendrix並在首作當中提出了burst beat的演奏概念以取代典型的blast beat，透過burst beat的爆破性演奏營造出精神上的昇華
，並將一切情感上的混沌與過人的演奏技術精準結合。

Liturgy的風格穿梭於Avant-Garde,Black Metal及神聖儀式之間，曾全球巡演並登上登上世界各大音樂節與藝術機構的舞台，包括 Pitchfork Festival、Primavera Sound、Big Ears、Greene Naftali、紐約現代藝術博物館（MoMA）以及 Unsound、Roadburn...等等
