Artists include:
Darren Senn engages audiences with his simple, well-crafted songs, happy and sad, and the stories about them with whatever grace he may stumble upon. He has been writing and performing in the Reno/Tahoe region for more than 20 years and plans to do so until the end of time.
Kate and Secily Anderson are the Winter Grain duo who performed at the Newport Folk Festival last year but only after Kate retired as an Army Blackhawk pilot. Fresh off being an International Acoustic Music Awards finalist, they just moved to Kings Beach from LA and absolutely adore the Tahoe area.
Will Richardson is Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Tahoe Institute for Natural Science (TINS), a member-supported nonprofit organization seeking to advance the natural history, conservation, and ecosystem knowledge of the Tahoe region through science, education, and outreach. Since 2010, TINS has promoted stewardship of the Tahoe region, bringing a deeper understanding and appreciation of the region’s natural resources to children, adults, and land managers.
This free event is made possible with funding from TOT-TBID Dollars at Work program, Arts Council of Placer County and Tahoe Community Foundation.
