Lunch & Learn: How Camp Gruber Displaced Cherokee Families During WWII

For our next “Lunch and Learn” lecture on Wednesday, September 17, learn about the Cherokee families whose allotment lands were taken to build Camp Gruber during World War II. LeeAnn Dreadfulwater, Cherokee historical consultant, will present her talk at the Northeastern State University Jazz Lab.

A light lunch is provided — you may also bring your own sack lunch to this event. You can attend this talk, “How Camp Gruber Displaced Cherokee Families During WWII,” from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at 315 N. Muskogee Ave. in Tahlequah.
