Visual Arts Class

This is a Visual Arts class held once a week for an hour and a half. In this class students will receive exposure to elements of art, such as composition, style, method and materials. Through project based learning students will also be introduced to the diversity of art worldwide and the masters of art throughout history. In addition, students will be given freedom in assignments to explore and develop their own style. The materials used and explored will be but are not limited to; drawing with graphite (pencil), colored pencil, markers, chalk pastels, oil pastels, crayon and marker, painting with acrylic and watercolor. The goal for the younger students is that they will receive foundational art instruction and exposure in a fun and simplified way. The goal for the older students is to be challenged in gaining a grasp on the fundamentals of art and developing a greater understanding for artistic development. This class is $100 per month per student. I am a Heartland Charter vendor. All supplies for in class work are provided. Message for enrollment.
