Join us for the 26th session of the Syracuse Actors Studio on Sunday, April 19th, 2026 12PM-8PM, which will be The First Annual SASFest!
The event will be a local film festival for and by SAS members to showcase our films and the films we’ve been in! We are so proud and excited to show our work to the local community and encourage filmmakers to work with us and encourage our members to make their own films.
We will be publishing our full program soon but right now we have several exciting films we are screening including American Claudius, It’s Me Again, Amariah, Trent Lockwood and the Ashes of Empire, and more!
Donations encouraged: as is our tradition every SAS, the event is free and open to the public, friends and family and the general public are encouraged to attend, but we are encouraging people to make a donation at the door to support our Syracuse Actors Studio (SAS) and The Palace Theater, who have generously partnered with us for this awesome event! We hope to raise money to help them continue to keep the theatre going for many local filmmakers and wonderful shows, and also as a fundraiser for SAS to help us keep hosting wonderful programs open to all!

The Palace Theater will have a full bar and concessions with snacks, candy, and popcorn. Please enjoy responsibly but also help us support them for being such gracious hosts.
We are also looking to partner with food trucks so everyone can stay the whole day and enjoy! More info on that to come.
This is a great annual event to invite family and friends and the general public to. Please feel free to share with whoever you think would love to come!
We will have some merchandise out from our films and many of the filmmakers and actors will be around for Q&A and to sign merch as well.
Street parking is free on Sundays. The Palace also has a parking lot behind the theater and has use of the United Healthcare parking lot across the street.

Syracuse Actors Studio is always a free monthly meetup for actors where we learn from and practice acting with each other. Actors of all experience levels are encouraged to attend! Filmmakers, writers, playwrights, producers, casting agents, and observers are welcome as well. This event is especially open to family, friends, and the general public to showcase our work.
