My beloved community! The most exciting day of the week among us is approaching. As we begin to see the fall and winter, we all should be reminded that there is someone feeling the same with no relief.Our friends sometimes have nowhere to go and very little resources to help. That’s where we come in. Come out on Saturday’s at Sandwich Saturday and help We Rise Above The Streets provide some relief to the homeless and impoverished populations. The changing seasons bring more needs for assistance. We are excited about all that our community has done and we’re looking forward to even more. It’s a great time for all. Come serve with us at LINCOLN MIDDLE SCHOOL, 1613 James Street as we serve and spread kindness and make sandwiches, packed lunches and hot meals to our beloved homeless friends. Bring your family and spend a day in service to others.You will enjoy being with other servants of the community as well and spend time getting to know the people we serve. Your help can be the light in someone’s darkest moment. Remember, it’s not about having all the answers or being able to fix everything—it’s about showing up with compassion and making a difference, one person at a time. Your kindness could be the spark that ignites hope in someone else’s life. In addition to sack lunches, we will also be handing out hygiene items, clothing and other basic living necessities. If you would like to help in our efforts by donating food, the following items are needed:

Cases of water
Mail or drop off at our office Monday-Friday 7:00am-1:00pm Saturday 7:30am -12:00am
