Connecting with your Ancestors through Tarot Workshop with Anna
As the turning of the year approaches and Samhain draws near, the veil between worlds grows thin. This is the sacred season when we can more easily reach across time to connect with the wisdom, love, and guidance of those who came before us.
If you feel called to deepen your relationship with your lineage — to honor the ones whose lives made yours possible — this immersive, beginner-friendly workshop will guide you in opening the door.
Through guided meditation, intentional Tarot practice, and heart-centered discussion, you’ll learn a grounded, accessible way to use the Tarot as a bridge to your ancestors — both the ones whose names you know, and the ancient, well ancestors who have been walking with you unseen.
What You’ll Experience
Opening Grounding & Invocation — A gentle meditation to clear the mind, root into the land, and invite the wise and well ancestors into our circle.
Basic Overview of Tarot Interpretation
Ancestor Mapping with Tarot — Learn a unique spread using the Court Cards to uncover the elemental essence of yourself and key members of your family tree.
The Ancestral Vessel Journey — A guided visualization to receive a symbolic gift from your lineage, followed by a Tarot spread to uncover its meaning.
Personal & Group Reflection — Share insights, receive guidance, and explore ways to continue your ancestral connection at home.
Each participant will receive a workshop guidebook to support your practice during and beyond our time together.

What to Bring
Necessary: A Tarot deck - while there will be a few decks available for you to borrow, I highly recommend bringing a deck that you do not yet have a deep connection with or one that you have already used to work with your ancestors. The deck will carry the energy of your ancestors and this workshop for a long time so it is important to bring a deck that has imagery you love. I tend to teach and interpret cards that are modeled after the Smith-Rider-Waite Tarot. If you are new/beginner I recommend starting with one of the traditional SRW decks. If you do not already have a deck here are some recommendations:

Optional: A journal or notebook and a pen (participants will receive a workbook for this event)
Optional: An object or photo that has connection to your ancestors to place on the altar in the center of our circle for the evening.
VERY Necessary: An open heart and a spirit of curiosity
