Long Island Harmony Explosion 2025

Long Island Harmony Explosion is a youth music festival that provides students the opportunity to grow their singing and musicianship skills, while making lifelong friends in the process! Long Island Harmony Explosion offers classes and workshops led by Barbershop singers and music educators to help students develop their singing ability in both a quartet and chorus setting. Students will learn about the magic of singing in the Barbershop style throughout the day, in addition to preparing songs they will perform at the concert that same evening!

The concert is FREE to attend, and all are welcome! Come and watch these talented young singers perform, and see first-hand how singing in harmony can be uplifting for the entire community!

The festival is hosted by a local Barbershop chorus, The Long Island Sound Chorus of Five Towns College in Dix Hills, NY and Meredith Glemboski, Youth in Harmony Coordinator of the Mid-Atlantic District of the Barbershop Harmony Society. The Long Island Sound Chorus is open to new members of all genders and experience levels!
