Face the Canvas (on purpose)
Intention. Belief. Curiosity. How will you look at yourself and remind your inner creator to “just jump in”. Let’s embrace our creative purpose in the new year!
This is another Fuller Art House competition. No portrait “perfections” needed or professional hoopla.
This is about adventure and freedom layered into brushstrokes and mark making.
Let’s Duel.
-Each artist will be paired across from another artist.
-Each artist will have 3 hours to create a masterpiece of the artist across from them.
(yes, you will be painting/creating and posing at the same time)
-You will draw, paint, collage, design…etc a portrait of the person across from you!
-Each artist will blindly pull 3 motivational words out of a hat.
-Each artist will then intertwine into their piece those three inspiring words.
Your piece will go home with the artist you painted. And you will receive your paired artist’s portrayal of you.
These works and the 3 words used will reflect positive, inspirational thoughts that will fuel both of you in the coming year.
