Let’s Get Japaneseee: Natsu matsuri (Summer Festival)

The Jackson County Public Library will host the next Let’s Get Japaneseee program on Tuesday, September 2nd at 6pm in the Community Room. This month’s program will explore the idea of Natsu matsuri (summer festivals). Natsu matsuri is the Japanese term for summer festivals, celebrated annually during the summer months and creates a lively and communal atmosphere with decorations like lanterns, streamers, and paper chains. Participants will make Natsu matsuri related crafts and enjoy a hiyashi chuka somen noodle dish.
