Round 1 of the Women's NSW Premier Cricket competition on Sunday 12th October will double as our National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) Triple Header,
This October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Manly Warringah Waratahs are using the month to raise money for the NBCF through it's 58km challenge - Click here to find out more.
As such, our "Pink Parade" Triple Header at Manly Oval on Sunday 12th October, at which Brewer Shield, W2s and W1s will play 3 T20s back-to-back, will double as a fundraiser for the NBCF. All proceeds raised will go towards our 58km campaign.
There will be face painting and cake stalls, as well as the BBQ running all day.
As this is the first game of the Women's season, the day will have a buzzing atmosphere that will start the season off in a perfect way.
Please note that W1s will be playing the middle game as opposed to the traditional final match. As such, match start times as follows:
Brewer Shield - 9am start
W1s - 12.15pm
W2s - 3.30pm
We look forward to seeing the whole Manly Warringah Women's cricket community in attendance.
