This networking breakfast event will feature a discussion on how private capital investors can utilise asset-backed loan structures to make acquisition bids more compelling, maximise liquidity through the life of investments and make possible early returns of capital to investors.
Chris Matthews, corporate finance lead at ScotPac Business Finance, will discuss with Peter Selby, investment director at private equity firm Alceon, and ScotPac senior manager corporate finance, Chris Charleson, how they structured loan facilities last year for Alceon to invest in businesses such as infrastructure firm C20 and heavy engineering group Shadbolt.
More generally, the discussion will outline how an understanding of asset-backed financing can help private capital investors in the planning of acquisitions or execution of turnaround strategies, free from the constraints of conventional debt covenants.
This event is sponsored by ScotPac Business Finance and organised by Private Equity Media.
