Join James and Sean for a laugh-out-loud session where the kids are in charge. Bring your weirdest and wackiest ideas for stories, because they’ll be mashing them up into the funniest Franken-tale you've ever heard — which James and Sean will illustrate, live!
Suitable for ages six and up, but all welcome.
Sean E Avery is a primary art teacher, author-illustrator, graphic designer and public speaker born in South Africa, living in Perth, Western Australia. Nationally, he’s best known as the creator of bestselling and critically acclaimed children’s picture books All Monkeys Love Bananas and Frank’s Red Hat. His latest books are Bob and Dob and Tony the Moany Groany Pony.
James Foley makes children’s books for children who read books. (If you’re a child and you’re eating his books, you’re doing it wrong.) He is the author and illustrator of many picture books and graphic novels, including Stellarphant, Happy Barry Capybara, Bigfoot vs Yeti: A Love Story, Secret Agent Mole, Brobot and Chickensaurus. Legend says James can grow a beard in an afternoon. He is a massive Marvel movie nerd and comes from a long line of queuing enthusiasts. He lives near Fremantle/Walyalup, Western Australia, with his wife Renae, their two kids, and a labrador called Frankie.
