Amazon river 'Slow Boat' docked at the port of Manaus.
These boats are the main mode of transport across the vast Amazon and some sail to other countries such as Peru and Bolivia, plodding along the river for several days.
Passengers pay about GYD15,000 equivalent for hammock accommodation on the two upper levels, and basic meals of rice, beans and limited meat.
Those who can afford may pay GYD50,000 equivalent for a cabin for two (the blue and white doors)
The lower deck is utilised primarily for cargo, taking goods into riverain communities in the Amazon 🇧🇷
