Learning how to identify plants takes time and practice. Luckily, we have some wonderful apps that can help you along the way! We will talk about different app options, how to use them on your phone or desktop, and the benefits of having citizen scientists help with plant identification.

Noxious/Toxic Plant ID October 4
“Leaves of three, let it be” is a popular phrase to help keep people from accidentally touching poison ivy, but this only gives a vague description of the plant. Are all plants with three leaves dangerous? Are there little rhymes for every toxic plant? In this class, we will discuss how to identify some noxious and toxic plants you might encounter in our local ecosystems, and on your own property!
