Join us Sunday, Feb. 8, 3-4:30 pm to learn the easiest seeding project you’ve ever tried. We'll create nearly free perennial seedlings for your garden and landscape this coming season, and they'll live outside in the elements until spring, while winter performs the cold stratification needed by most native plant species.
We’ll provide a one-gallon plastic water jug (you’re welcome to bring another), soil and a small selection of native perennial and herb seeds. Please bring your own seeds to plant, swap and share, as well!
Your host is Cheri Domina at lovely Tippin Rock Farm, 227 Swanzey Lake Road in Swanzey, with Michele Chalice teaching best practices for winter seed sowing. Michele is owner of Healthy Home Habitats (HHH) and a former licensed Landscape Architect, now Ecological Landscape Designer, with 40 years of gardening know-how.
